Newfoundland Puppies Turn 6 Weeks Old

The pups continue to amaze us. This week we opened up their nursery and they are now able to go outside whenever they want to. Sense we opened up the nursery they have have just a few accidents inside but for the most part have done very well at going outside to potty. They are also fully transitioned to whole puppy food and are gaining weight wonderfully with each pup gaining at least 2lbs this week. We are starting to wean the pups from Jasmine as they are overwhelming her and have started to become too aggressive with nursing creating cuts on her tits and belly. The pups will be able to nurse twice each day this week and as we move into the following weekend we will go to once daily nursing getting them ready for their new families in the weeks to come.
